Here we go!
It's that time of the year again – the start of a new school journey for our little ones. But beyond the academics, there's a profound focus on something even more important: social-emotional development. The heart of our preschool universe is building connections, managing emotions, and forming friendships take center stage.
In these years, with support from adults in their lives, they can navigate the intricacies of friendships, handling emotions, and building a sense of self. So, as we dive into the school year, let's champion activities that nurture these vital skills. Whether it's sharing a toy, taking turns in line, or expressing feelings through art, every interaction lays the foundation for a socially and emotionally resilient future.
In preschool, PLAY meets these needs. Play isn't just a pastime; it is the work of preschoolers. Through play, children learn to understand and regulate their emotions, develop empathy, and navigate social interactions. And on day 1, my new preschoolers are already delving into this world.
